Organizing Agents with Tags

Tags let you categorize and organize your agents so they're easier to find and manage. You can add tags from the agent list, from within an agent's configuration, and use the Manage Tags modal to handle all your tags in one place.


Adding Tags to an Agent

You can add tags to any agent in two ways:

From the Agent List

  1. Navigate to the Agents section from the main navigation.
  2. Locate the agent you want to tag.
  3. Click the tag icon or the Tags option on the agent's row.
  4. Type a tag name and select it from the dropdown, or create a new tag by typing and pressing Enter.
  5. The tag is immediately saved to the agent.

From Agent Configuration

  1. Open an agent by clicking its name in the agent list.
  2. In the agent configuration panel, find the Tags field.
  3. Type a tag name and select it from the dropdown, or create a new tag by typing and pressing Enter.
  4. Save the agent configuration to apply the tag.

Managing Tags with the Manage Tags Modal

The Manage Tags modal gives you a central place to view and manage all tags across your organization.

To open it:

  1. Navigate to the Agents section.
  2. Click the Manage Tags button (accessible from the agent list toolbar).

From the Manage Tags modal, you can:

Rename a Tag

  1. Locate the tag you want to rename.
  2. Click the edit (pencil) icon next to the tag name.
  3. Type the new name and confirm.

Note: Renaming a tag updates its name everywhere it is used — all agents with that tag will automatically reflect the new name. No associations are lost.

Bulk-Assign Agents to a Tag

  1. Locate the tag in the Manage Tags modal.
  2. Click Add Agents or the assignment option next to the tag.
  3. Select one or more agents from the list to assign them to this tag.
  4. Confirm to save. All selected agents will be tagged in one action.

Delete a Tag

  1. Locate the tag you want to delete.
  2. Click the Delete (trash) icon next to the tag.
  3. Confirm the deletion.

Note: Deleting a tag removes it from all agents it was applied to.


Filtering the Agent List by Tag

Once tags are applied, you can use them to filter your agent list:

  1. Navigate to the Agents section.
  2. Open the Filters panel or click the filter icon in the agent list toolbar.
  3. Select Tags as a filter criterion.
  4. Choose one or more tags to filter by.
  5. The agent list will update to show only agents matching the selected tags.

This makes it easy to quickly find a specific group of agents without scrolling through a long list.


Removing a Tag from an Agent

To remove a tag from a specific agent:

  1. Open the agent from the agent list or go into its configuration.
  2. Find the applied tags.
  3. Click the × next to the tag you want to remove.
  4. The tag is removed from that agent immediately (the tag itself is not deleted).
