Building AI Agents: Getting Started

There are two ways to create a new AI Agent in NinjaCat:

Option 1. Recruit an Agent – Choose from a gallery of pre-built Agent templates that need to be trained with your data.

Option 2. Start from Scratch – Build a custom Agent tailored to your specific needs.

In order to select one of these two options, follow these steps to begin:

1. From the Main Navigation Bar, select "Marketing Apps," then select "Agents.”
2. This takes you to the Agent Library.
3. Click the “New Agent” button in the top-right corner.

Option 1: Recruit an Agent

If you're unsure what to build, this is a great place to start. This option provides a gallery of Agents with predefined goals—they just need to be trained with your data and fine-tuned to your business needs.

How to Recruit an Agent:

• Browse the Agent Gallery and select one that aligns with your needs.
• Click “Start Training.”
• This triggers Agent Builder Bob to begin configuring the Agent in collaboration with you. (Learn more about collaborating with Agent Builder Bob here).

Option 2: Start from Scratch

If you already have a clear objective in mind, building an Agent from scratch is the best approach.

How to Start from Scratch:

• After selecting this option, you’ll be taken to Agent Builder Bob, where you can describe your desired Agent’s goal or task.
• Examples:
  • “I need help identifying underperforming keywords.”
  • “I need an Agent that can generate display network ads.”
• Bob will begin configuring the Agent based on your request. (See the Agent Builder Bob section for details.)

If you prefer to configure the Agent yourself, you are welcome to do so by filling out the required fields in the General and Knowledge tabs manually. Working with Agent Builder Bob in the Create tab is optional, but he can help save time by handling the heavy lifting of prompt writing for you.
