CallTrackingMetrics

NinjaCat directly integrates with many third-party Call Tracking platforms. These network connections allow you to include their call-tracking data in your client reports and dashboards created in NinjaCat. This article will cover step-by-step instructions on how to add the CallTrackingMetrics V2 integration to your agency and accounts. This integration is different from our standard call tracking integrations in that in the NinjaCat Template Builder you would select this integration, specifically, by name and not the general "Call Tracking" choice.

📘

NinjaCat can connect to this call-tracking provider through this direct API integration and/or the standard, "catch-all" Call Tracking integration. The benefit of using the direct API connection is that you have access to the API-provided data fields instead of the standard set of fields applied to all call-tracking providers under the standard call-tracking integration.

📘

If you collect data from multiple call-tracking providers that are connected to the standard Call Tracking integration it automatically aggregates the data delivered by those providers. If you collect data from multiple call-tracking providers that you connect to through direct API integrations you will have to aggregate data through more manual tactics. You will need to add multiple data sources to widgets and use aggregate or custom dimensions or metrics.

Adding the Data Source

  1. Go to the Setup Settings

  2. Follow the instructions in the article How to Connect a Direct Data Network Connection to begin the process of making the Network connection

  3. Fill in the required fields on the Network Settings page with the requested credentials

📘

In some cases, there are programmatic ways to find the requested credentials. Ultimately you may have to contact the data source provider to obtain the credentials. We try to advise or help direct you to the credentials when we can.
