There's a new optional tool available in the Agent Builder (under Tools) called "To Do List" (soon to be renamed to "Planning Mode"). Enabling this will force the Agent to think through what steps it needs to go through according to the Instructions given and the message received by the user, and actually build itself a To Do List to follow. This forces the Agent to think through and plan before diving right into the tasks, and it refers back to the list after each step to check off the previous step and start the next step. The hope is that this tool will help the Agent more consistently work through steps in the right order, resulting in more consistent outputs. Let us know of feedback after trying the tool out!

We're excited to announce that we now support Remote MCP Servers. Now, at the agent level, you can connect one or more Remote MCP Servers to seamlessly gain access to ready-made tools from third-party providers. This opens all sorts of doors for increasing the capabilities of your Agents who can use those tools to take action outside of the NinjaCat platform- as long as the desired provider supports a Remote MCP Server with the tools that you're looking for (there are other requirements of note in the below listed documentation).

Our Agents should leverage data from an assigned Dataset in your Data Cloud where applicable. If the Agent needs more capabilities in order to achieve its objective, take a look at the list of premade Tools available to you in the Agent Builder (such as web scraping, web research and image generation). If the Agent needs other capabilities with third party providers outside of NinjaCat, then see if that provider supports a Remote MCP Server with a set of tools (ex. create and update records in my CRM or send my boss a message including the analysis). If not, then lean on Agent Builder Bob to build out a Custom Action to do exactly what you need it to do.

Get ready to level up your Email Connector imports with our brand-new Data Ingestion Mode dropdown! You can now choose Replace (default) or Append when importing date-matched rows.
Replace will overwrite existing data for matching dates (and accounts, if configured), while Append always keeps both old and new rows.

The "Clicks (all)" metric is now available for TikTok within our product. This update enables users to access and report on the total number of clicks generated by their TikTok campaigns.

Our Bulk Management Tool now supports both StackAdapt and Custom URL Data Sources to help streamline your actions of adding, editing or deleting those data source connections.

A new display option, "Date (no timezone)", has been added to the template editor. This feature allows users to display date fields from datasets without applying any timezone adjustments. With this option, dates will now display exactly as stored in the dataset, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

The "Call Sentiment" dimension is now accessible in Ninjacat. This enhancement allows users to leverage CallRail's sentiment analysis—categorizing calls as positive, negative, or neutral—within their reporting.

The "Send to Dataset" toggle has been significantly improved for a seamless experience for the following mapping providers: Amazon S3, Email, FTP, SQL, URL and Zapier.

Key enhancements include:

Direct Access: A new "View Dataset" link is provided, allowing you to instantly navigate to the dataset created in Datacloud for easy access and management.

Flexible Toggle: If a mapping was created but the toggle was never enabled, you can now activate it at any time. The system will properly create and configure the dataset, regardless of when the mapping was set up.
