Targeted edits — element selection in App Studio web-app previews

Targeted edits are available for Web Apps in App Studio — they are not available for Data Apps. When you build a web app, you can now point the builder at exactly the element you want to change. Turn on select mode in the live preview, then click an element — or drag to select several at once — and those elements attach to your next message to the builder. Instead of describing what you mean in words, you can select the button, heading, or section directly and tell the assistant what to do with it.

Each selection carries the precise location of the element in your app, so requests like "make this blue" or "tighten the spacing here" land on the right thing the first time — fewer back-and-forth clarifications and more accurate edits. You can attach up to 20 elements to a single request. Selected elements appear as chips next to the message box so you can review them before you send.
