Model Selection Expansion — Fireworks AI Open-Source Models + Claude Sonnet 5
More model options in the Agent Builder — introducing Fireworks open-source models (plus Claude Sonnet 5) 🎆
The Agent Builder just got a lot more powerful. We've added a fresh lineup of open-source models from Fireworks — giving you more flexibility, speed, and cost options when choosing the right brain for each agent.
New Fireworks open-source models — now selectable in the model dropdown under the Fireworks group:
• GLM-5.2
• Kimi K2.7 Code
• Qwen 3.7 Plus
• MiniMax M3
• DeepSeek V4 Pro
• DeepSeek V4 Flash
Open-source models are a great fit when you want cost-efficient, high-throughput options for your agents — test them against your current setup and see what performs best for your use case.
And there's more — Claude Sonnet 5 has landed too. You'll now see two new Anthropic options in the dropdown: Claude Sonnet 5 and Claude Sonnet 5 - Thinking (which adds adaptive thinking for deeper reasoning). Both sit alongside the existing Claude models.
As always, existing agents are unaffected and new agents keep their current default model — every new model is opt-in, chosen per agent from the model dropdown. Mix and match to find the best fit.
