Deployed apps pause when idle and wake on return
September 18th, 2026
Deployed apps now pause themselves when no one's using them, and wake the instant someone comes back. An app pauses five minutes after its last tab closes, or after thirty idle minutes with a tab still open. Idle means idle: an app scrolling its own content won't keep itself awake without a real person.
Reopen a paused app and a brief overlay covers the reload while it resumes; a single click, key press, or mouse move brings it right back. Return the same day and it picks up warm, with no startup wait. It's all automatic, with nothing to configure.
